My name is Adrien Leduc and I’m truly passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their learning goals. As a private, independent tutor, I have the freedom to set my own schedule, pick my own students, and create my own lesson plans. All of this ultimately benefits my students because it means that I can better accommodate their busy schedules and personalize my teaching style and my lesson plans so that they get the most out of our time together.

My teaching philosophy is in line with the Socratic method and I am a firm believer in meeting students where they're at. To me, every learner is a unique individual with unique experiences, interests, and abilities and it's my job to help them learn (and succeed) in a way that makes sense to them.

 

My teaching and mentoring experience is varied and well-rounded: I've coached youth soccer. I've taught English as a Second Language. I've created and delivered employment skills workshops. I've led historical walking tours. Throughout all of my teaching and mentoring roles, my passion and enthusiasm for helping people learn has only grown and I continue to find it rewarding and fulfilling.
